Q: how do i plug in my ipod in my new 2008 jeep wrangler unlimited?
just bought a 2008 jeep wrangler unlimited. supposed to be able to plug in ipod to radio. what plug do i use and where do i get one?
A: I just bought a 2008 Wrangler Sahara last month. I also bought a male to male 6 foot cable to plug my iPod into the AUX jack on the front of the radio. Works great.

So the idiots over at the dealership give me conflicting stories and clearly know nothing about the equipment they sell. Where can I get some straight answers on how to enable the u connect bluetooth feature on my 2008 jeep wrangler?
A: the wrangler does not have u-connect. yes there is a button on the radio, but thats only there cuz there is no radio that chrysler make that does not have the button. chrysler did not what to use u-connect on wranglers cuz of wind noise. and there would of been alot of people pissed off. but there is a kit you can get from the dealer. just go to any jeep dealer and parts can order it for u.
Q: On the 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited's - do the half doors have roll-up windows or a soft-top extension window?
I'm looking into buying a 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited - my first Jeep - and really like how the half doors look, especially with the top down. My only question is do they have roll-up windows or is it more like an extension from the soft top that comes down to cover the window. If they do have windows - how do they seal to the soft top, and if they don't have windows but rather an extension - are they a pain to open?
A: The half doors are just that. No window and are ment to be a visiual aid and let more air in. You know 2 and 70. Two windows down and 70 MPH.
Q: What is the diffeance between a new 2008 Jeep Wrangler and an old-school Jeep Wrangler.?
I heard this person say say that the new Jeep Wranglers were "Jeep Corporation Vehicles, but not real Jeeps."
When I say old school Wrangler, i should also mention that I am refering to CJ's and stuff like that too.
A: The 2008 have a V-6 and ride much better then a CJ or even the older Wranglers.There is nothing wrong with the new Wranglers,I have a CJ and have gone 4 wheelin with people that own a 07 Wrangler and they went everywhere I did with no problems.Jeep Corporation has been dissolved since 1987 so I don't know what they would be talking about.A Jeep is a Jeep no matter if Willys,Ford,Jeep Corp,AMC Jeep,Chrysler,DamlerChrysler or Chrysler LLC made it.

I am looking at test drivng one and wanted to hear some feedback. Are they as bouncy as the older Jeep's, how is the Freedom Top vs the soft top, etc....

A: The new Wranglers ride like a car,I drive them all day at work over some rough bumps and they ride great.I have a soft top on my 2001 Wrangler and love it,but the soft top is a little too noisy for some people.If you plan on buying one just e-mail me and I will get you an employee discount.

A: Ummm read the owners manual. You take the bolts out of the hinges and there is a quick disconnect for the power windows and doors.

A: Ihave a 2004 Rubicon and will keep it forever. I like the new one's but not sure about the HUGE fenders. I like the freedom top and how modern the interior is. I know the YJ's were just very rinky dink so your step up to a 2008 is quite a difference. Glad you like your new one and good luck with it.
Q: Can I purchase an aftermarket "mygig" for my 2008 Jeep Wrangler X?
The "X" model does not have it as an available option. I really like it and was thinking about purchasing a new unit via ebay but before I did so I wanted to make sure that it would work on the "X" model. Basically if I can switch out the stock radio with the mygig without any problems or need to buy other parts/accessories for it. Thanks..
A: stop by a best buy and check with the people there, they install radio units so i'm sure they'd be able to tell you whether or not it will work

A: Jeeps hold their value longer.
You can go more places in a 4x4 jeep...if you like camping, hiking, fishing, climbing, etc...it can take you into more rugged terrain. :)
and, in my personal opinion, jeeps are just way cooler~

A: No, Wranglers have a bunch of options. The manual trans will bang and jerk too much when off-roading; the automatic is far superior for rough roads and off-road, and much easier on driveline components.
