Q: Where can I purchase custom tail lights for my 2007 Jeep Patriot?
I have looked on line but no one as anything for it. I am not sure if it is beause it is so new or what? I busted mine and I would rather have custom if I have to buy new.

A: perhaps. you should wait until the car isnt so new, the reason being is that not every aftermarket Tail light maker can produce new styles for every new car! ESPECIALLY, if the car isnt a "hot" car.. your car is a jeep, so i beleive that they would make tail lights for new sports cars and ricers before they do random cars that arnt as popular

Q: How much would it cost to have a 2.5 inch or more lift installed to a 2007 Jeep Patriot?


A: Probably about $500-$700 including labor b/c you're going to have to do springs on the jeep and pay for the labor involved. It could even cost more because you might want to get new wheels and tires on it if you lift it. If you don't get new wheels and tires on it, it may very well look silly. If I were you, I wouldn't do this b/c the Jeep Patriot is not really a strong enough truck for offroading, and you're just going to end up having to pay more in GAS and FUEL b/c the truck is more wind resistant (less aerodynamic) when cruising on the highway.

A: I love mine. I have a 2008, I've had it a month. I just enjoy driving it every where. I have almost 1300 miles on it.

A: I'm sure some of them are available now. It's basically a Jeep Caliber.

I have checked the pressure in all tires and seems fine.

A: Cold air is dense air and your air pressure will be lower. Make sure you check on a cold tire.

Q: I am considering to buy a Jeep Patriot 2007 - is there a better affordable alternative - SUV category?
- i plan to get a Jeep Patriot - but my boss suggested something with a V6 engine - Patriot has only 4 cylinder ... does this engine type make a big difference?

A: im a jeep dealer. the patriot is a great new vehicle that is being released. it is using the same engine as the jeep compass, base jeep liberty, dodge caliber, and pt cruiser. the patriot and the jeep compass are basically the same vehicle w/ a different body on it. what you have to consider is the weight of the vehicle vs. the horsepower/torque that the vehicle has. the more weight the more engine you will need. the jeep compass comes only w/ a 4 cyl but is a smaller vehicle. toyota makes the rav4, jeep also has the liberty in both 4cyl and 6cyl. the 4cyl is a great engine, but you will have a quieter ride/sound from the v6 than the 4cyl. gas mileage is going to be about the same (1-2 mpg more) since the 4cyl will have to work harder to move the weight.

Q: Which SUV would you get, a 2006 Suzuki XL7 or a 2007 Jeep Patriot?
Both would be brand new... A: Suzuki will be more reliable, and it seats 7... but probably get worse fuel economy. (22 mpg highway vs the Jeep's 27 mpg highway) I've owned both Suzukis (XL7) and Jeeps (Wrangler), and by far the Suzuki was the better built car and much more reliable. Plus they've got an awesome warranty (like 10 yrs, fully transferable). Having owned both, I'd buy a Suzuki again, but I wouldn't buy a Jeep again. I think that says it all.

Q: Is 2007 JEEP PATRIOT LIMITED 4X4 reliable? Why?Open for any other info.?
This car seem kool to get but don't know is Jeep Partriot car are good to buy?

A: I just bought one 2 weeks ago... love it! I stopped driving my Expedition because of gas mileage and thought my Corolla was dorky. All safety features are standard, great mileage... I was actually looking at CRV and Vue... Fuuugh-ly! Better vehicle for a better price. I did TONS of research. In addition, I would get the Limited over the Sport. Lots of nice little upgrades makes for a sharp ride. I was also wanting to get the red... As soon as I saw the green, I was in love. A: jeeppatriot.com good forum with lots of information regarding the Jeep Patriot. I belong to the forum. There are many owners, future owners and ones who are considering one. I have one that shall be here in a few weeks. Scheduled to ship here on the 27th should be a few weeks after that I shall get it. I personally love the looks, I opted for the 4x2 cause I won't be offroading, it's my run around vehicle. That's what the pickup is for. There are a few pro's, they seem minor. Some like the 5 speed over the CVT (which I ordered). There's talk over there of possible mods, lifts, etc. Got a few who've took it offroading. Some amazing pictures at the forum also. I am spending less that $20,000 on mine. I got the sport. If you want nav, boston acc., 4x4, limited, over $20,000

A: I think the jeep patriot is kinda ugly myself...and its def. more expensive. I'm not a fan of a civic sedan either, but it's def. real cheap for a new car.

A: The Jeep Patriot, Jeep Compass, and Dodge Caliper are all based on the Dodge Neon platform, and powered by the 172 hp 2.4 litre 4-cyl. from the Dodge Stratus. So far no MPG ratings have been released for these cross-over vehicles, but the combined city/hwy mpg should be about the same as the Status; 25 mpg.

Q: I dont know anything about cars but why does it leak water EVERYTIME I use AC? Its a brand new car (2007)?
I just bought a new 2007 jeep patriot. yesterday, after driving to the store and back I noticed that water was dripping from the bottom. Is that normal? I dont know anythign about cars and my brother told me that cars usually do that if you use the ac. Is it harmful or just a normal thing? well thats good to know..thanks a lot everyone!

A: Normal if you are running the air conditioner; condensation, just like the home unit. Check the coolant level when the car is cold and make sure.

Q: Does anyone own a 2007 Cr-V? I'm deciding between it and Jeep Patriot. Talk to me.?


A: i own a 2007 CR-V and it is the best car i've had. Although the Jeep Patriot is very cheap, it is a Jeep, so it will not be as reliable as the Honda and in the long run the Honda will take less money to maintain. The CR-V also has a far superior exterior and interior, with standard features that the Jeep does not have, such as an in-dashboard display center and MP3 capability. I would highly recommend the CR-V.
