Q: Where is the amplifier on a 2008 Jeep Liberty?
I own a 2008 Jeep Liberty Limited, with the Infinity audio system; I've been wondering where they hide the amplifier... I've searched several times in the owner's manual, but can't find anything! Any clue?

A: You are 16...a 2008 anything is a GREAT first car. I'm 26 and still haven't been able to have a new car.

Q: If I buy a Brand New 2008 Jeep Liberty in January of 2009 How much do you think the price would drop from now?
I was considering a 2008 Jeep Liberty Limited but I want to wait until the beg. of the year. Just wondering what kind of sales/discounts they do around this time. I plan on putting around $12,000 down to keep my payments low. Any ideas on how much I could get one of these cars for? :) Please let me know!!!

A: That kind of thing is always a crap shoot, they might close the plant in July for a big refit and make the 08 a rare commodity among dealers not needing big incentives. Rule of thumb is they offer about the same deal during the Sept-Oct. sellout as they do as the Nov-Dec. one it is just more fine tuned to the dwindling supply of cars and trucks. The cycle keeps repeating.

Q: With regular Maitinance, how long will a 2008 jeep Liberty last.?
I really want the new Jeep Liberty, but i would like a car that will last a couple hundred thousand miles, will a jeep work for me?

A: Modern cars and trucks are designed for 10 years/150,000 miles. With proper care it can last longer. Without proper care you will never make it that far.

Q: 2008 Jeep liberty buying guide?
I really want to buy a 2008 jeep liberty, should i buy it now, within a few months or wait till the end of the summer? Current jeep incentive is $1500 cash back, will jeep have better incentives at the end of the summer?

A: Jeep may or may not have better incentives at the end of summer. It really will depend on their sales at that time, gas prices and many other factors. If you get a good deal now then why not buy now? What most people fail to realize is the end of model year incentives are a bit better most of the time, so you save an extra $500 or so but the second the 09's hit the ground the car just became a year old so you loose the extra $500 or so you picked up. It comes out to a flush. I say if you want the Jeep and have done your research and can negotiate a good deal why wait to save a few hundred bucks that in some way would actually be flush!

Q: 2008 Jeep Liberty or 2008 Ford Ranger, which should I buy?
Both are great vehicles and cost about the same,which one would you buy and why. I am aware that one is a suv and the other a pick-up truck.

A: My first question would be, is the Liberty a 4 X 4? Secondly, how are you going to use the vehicle? If you are a tradesman and need to haul stuff for the job or side jobs, I would buy the Ranger. If not and the Liberty is not a 4 X 4, I would buy the Ranger because the pickup will have a greater resale than the non 4 X 4 Liberty. If the Liberty is a 4 X 4, then drive them both and buy the one you like the best. Be sure to drive them under the same road conditions and on the same day. After the test drive you will know. Trust yourself and be happy!

Q: Do you own the new 2008 Jeep Liberty?

A: I don't own a Liberty, but I just recently purchased a 2008 Jeep Patriot. I've been very pleased with it. The performance and gas mileage are superb.

Q: How do you reset the change oil indicator on a Jeep Liberty 2008?
I just got an oil change and the guy didn't know how to shut it off. Help, it's annoying.

A: owners manual - page 226 - Turn the ingnition switch to ON (do not start) and fully depress the accelerator pedal slowly 3 times within 10 seconds and then turn the ignition switch to OFF . ** you do not need to go into the dealership at all... i do this myself on my 2008 Jeep Patriot...

A: yes i do love the 07 liberty, but it now look like a smaller grand Cherokee. also i have a 02 grand Cherokee limited and the liberty now looks a bit like it so that's another reason. jeep knows how to make a SUV right

Q: Can a roof rack be installed on a 2008 Jeep Liberty that has the "SkyRider" retractable sunroof?
I have a 2008 Jeep Liberty Limited Edition with the SkyRider roof. Check out http://www.jeep.com/en/2008/liberty/ Thule and Yakima cannot fit this vehicle with their online fit guide. I have been to Mopar.com, but since the Liberty Sport and Limited Edition can be made with or without the retractable sunroof, I don't know if what is available through them is compatible with the sunroof? Am I S.O.L? Has anyone seen a roof rack on this vehicle? I have a pair of kayaks and no way to transport.

A: Its the Dodge Nitro with a Jeep face. Read the reviews on the Nitro for info and specs on the 2008 Liberty.

Q: Is the new 2008 all jeep liberty a manly vehicle or a feminine vehicle.?
Seems like the older ones were manly driven by women and I don’t want my next truck to be girly. Will be the sport 4x4 trail rated edition in jeep green. this is the new model based on the nitro, not the old rounded ones.

A: Eeeww! I'm a girl and I wouldn't want an '08 Liberty! And BTW, I see a ton of guys driving the ZJs around. And yes, that's what I have.

Q: Have a Choice between a 2008 Jeep (liberty or patriot) or 1989 325i BMW.?
I was looking more towards the Jeep because I want a sound system for my car, I was thinking that since the jeep is bigger I can put more stuff into it. The BMW is "classy" but old it's still got room for a system. Bottom Line between these 2 which one would A)Look better exterior and B)Sound system capacity

A: id go with a jeep patriot.the most you can spend on it is about 2800.its one of the best.my friend has one and its so cool.the ride is really smooth,and the mpg 27.

A: Well, I suppose if you like your basic " box stuck to a box " style, you'll pretty much like the entire Jeep line-up.. That is, with the possible minor exception of the Compass.. Sorry, since DMC took the reins at Chrysler Corp. I see dark clouds on the horizon for Jeep !! Hang onto your TJs' 'cause things are about to get UGLY !!
